Tester job description

A Tester, often referred to as a Quality Assurance (QA) Tester, is a crucial role in the IT industry. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that software, systems and applications are free from errors and function as expected. They systematically conduct pre-defined test processes on the software products and note down any discrepancies or bugs. They work closely with developers to rectify these issues before the product is launched. A Tester needs to have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of various testing methodologies.
