Company & Role:
You will be joining as the Global Sales Executive to drive growth in Global Accounts (you will be given 45 Named Accounts to target). Services include the consolidation and forwarding of air or ocean freight, customs brokerage, vendor consolidation, cargo insurance, time-definite transportation, order management, warehousing, distribution and customized logistics solutions. Area to focus on is the Midlands covering Staffordshire to Northamptonshire.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a list of Named Accounts and demonstrate success at closing new business with target and prospect accounts based on established new business revenue expectations (£60k per month after the first 6 months to a year).
* 60%/40% split between Contractual and Ad-hoc business.
* Utilize Customer Relationship Management tool.
* Participate in the creation of value-added solutions for customer’s logistics needs, including supporting diagrams and cost-benefit calculations.
* Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing any necessary customer paperwork.
* Attend training & development sessions to continue developing selling skills and updating Expeditors Product and Service knowledge.
* Maintain working knowledge of industry trends and forecasts.
* Take on additional assignments as required, supporting company needs.
Requirements:
* Right to Work in the UK.
* Full Driving License.
* Proven track record in generating New Business.
* Experience in Logistics / Supply Chain and/or Knowledge of Supply Chain is desirable.
* Experience or Knowledge selling similar products is advantageous into Supply Chain.
* Would consider other backgrounds e.g. Pharma / Automotive selling into similar route to market.
* A strong drive to pursue new sales opportunities and treat as your own business.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and ensure customer retention remains a priority.
Salary & Benefits Package:
* Starting salary is £70,000 per annum with commission to be discussed and salary will range up to £90,000 dependent on experience.
* £5,400 per year car allowance.
