Job Title: HR Recruiter (Care Home Staff) Location: Horsham, West Sussex Salary: £29,000 - £35,000 (based on experience, negotiable) Contract: Full-Time, Starting January About the Role Quality Care Recruit, part of Quality Care Group, is excited to represent a rapidly growing care provider in West & East Sussex seeking an experienced HR Recruiter. This is a unique role that requires a recruiter who understands the complexities of recruiting and managing international staff within the care sector. With a workforce of almost 200, including roughly 150 sponsored employees, this role involves close collaboration with our client’s HR advisors and legal teams to ensure compliance with immigration and employment regulations. This isn’t a typical 9-5 recruitment role. Given the nature of the workforce, most recruitment activities take place outside of standard hours, between 8 pm and 2 am, making this an ideal role for someone who can accommodate this schedule and work independently. This incredible opportunity allows experienced HR recruitment specialists to execute their role on an adjusted timetable with a flexible employer. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end recruitment for care home staff, primarily international candidates, ensuring compliance with immigration laws and Home Office regulations. Arrange accommodation for staff, manage visa applications, renewals, Right to Work (RTW) checks, and Biometric Residence Permits (BRPs). Build strong relationships with current staff, visiting care home sites to address issues, handle grievances, and maintain open communication. Work closely with HR advisors and legal teams for guidance on employment law and immigration requirements. Support staff with English as a second language, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their roles and responsibilities. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in recruitment, particularly with international staff, and a solid understanding of immigration processes and Home Office regulations. Knowledge of HR law as it relates to the care sector is desired, with the ability to lean on HR advisors and legal support for complex matters. Flexibility to work non-traditional hours (e.g. 8 pm to 2 am), with strong time management skills. Excellent organisational skills, able to arrange staff accommodation, manage visa and RTW processes, and ensure all documentation is current and compliant. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse, multicultural workforce.
