Role: Locum Mortuary Assistant Banding: 3/4 Location: Yorkshire Start Date: ASAP Duration: On going Hours: Full-time Rate: £15 to £18 per hour The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mortuary Assistant to join our team in Yorkshire. This is a full-time position starting ASAP, with a competitive daily rate of £15-£18 per hour. The role is initially on going, with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs. Duties and Responsibilities: You will ideally be a Mortuary Assistant with experience in release and admission, reconstruction skills, and pediatric experience. You will also be an Anatomical Pathologist Technician holding a Level 3 qualification in Anatomical Pathology Technology or an equivalent qualification, such as the old diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology, with the following skills. Essential requirements: Competent in handling high-risk (HR) cases, including those involving infectious diseases Experienced in paediatric cases Proficient in all standard mortuary procedures, including admission, documentation, and post-mortem preparation. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Why work with Pulse?
