Overview
Τhe Institutional Sales Executive will sell Bookmap’s products and services to brokerages, exchanges, and other institutional sell-side and buy-side clients to generate new business and grow existing client relationships. The role requires someone who excels at developing and servicing high-value B2B clients, has high-level knowledge of the global futures & stock markets and industry participants, and can thrive in a trading technology-focused business.
Responsibilities
* Institutional sales, business development, and client management of a global client base. Strong network in the United States preferred
* Sell Bookmap’s offerings to brokerages, exchanges, asset managers, trading firms, and other market participants
* Manage and grow relationships with selected Bookmap clients
* Follow up on sales leads generated by Bookmap’s marketing initiatives
* Source and contact prospective clients and potential business development opportunities
* Represent Bookmap at conferences, industry events, and in-person meetings
* Work with Bookmap’s management, marketing, technology development, and operations teams to ensure client relationships are optimally maintained and developed
* Providing market intelligence and industry insights to Bookmap’s leadership team to enable informed decision making
Job Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years in a sales or business development position with the financial services and/or trading technology ecosystem
* Experience in stock and futures trading or brokering preferred
* Strong understanding of trading technology and the needs and requirements of traders in trading platform solutions
* Relationships with brokerages, exchanges, banks, asset managers, trading firms, and other market participants in US and European markets strongly preferred
* Good understanding of financial markets and financial instruments, particularly in stocks and exchange-traded derivatives
* Firm grasp of incumbent trading technology vendors, their value propositions, and how they operate
* In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, concepts, and best practices
* Excellent skills in written and verbal communication, negotiation, and relationship building
* Effective time management, organization, and teamwork skills
* Fluent in English
* Ability to work remotely and coordinate working hours with central European and US business hours
