Drama Teacher
Protocol Education are looking to recruit a Drama Teacher in the North Bristol Area. This is a full time role with a key aim to deliver the subject-specific curriculum and support students in their learning and preparing them to effectively undertake their GCSE examinations.
The successful Teacher will work closely with the whole Drama department who will support you to embody the school's approach to learning and be seen to hold their values in high regard while acting as a role model throughout your time in the school. The school are looking for a Drama specialist to join their department to deliver to KS3 & KS4. This will include a regular tutor group, planning & marking - which will include a timetable that PPA time is allocated for, as well as extracurricular available if desired.

Required:
- QTS qualified
- Previous experience teaching Drama
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their potential.
-Organize and lead Drama performances, concerts, and extracurricular music activities.
-Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Ability to complete planning and marking in accordance with the Drama curriculum
- Full time availability
-Suitable references and an accurate and updated DBS check
The candidate will:
- Be excited and keen to teach and lead lessons and are an expert in their subject field
- Have prior experience teaching especially GCSE content to a variety of learning abilities
- Have an open-minded approach to teaching
- Be supportive and positive toward students and their learning
- Act as a role model for their students and display a contagious love for the subject.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
