We are seeking a skilled Junior Sous Chef who is specialised in Asian cuisine to join our culinary team in a bustling restaurant setting. Responsibilities
1. Assist the Head Chef in food production and preparation
2. Oversee kitchen operations during service hours
3. Ensure food safety standards are strictly adhered to
4. Supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance and support
5. Help develop new menu items and specials
6. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
Requirements
1. Specialised in Asian cuisine
2. Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
3. Proficiency in food preparation techniques and culinary skills
4. Strong knowledge of food safety practices
5. Excellent supervisory and leadership abilities
6. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
7. A passion for creating exceptional dishes and delivering top-notch service
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
