We are supporting a market-leading convertor of wheelchair accessible vehicles, minibuses, vehicle adaptations, bespoke vehicle conversions and campervans as they seek a retail SALES EXECUTIVE to sell their range of Campervans to the public.
Based in Newton Abbot, this is a long-established and highly successful business that has built an enviable reputation across the UK. As such, the role is full of potential for a skilled sales professional.
Day to day activities will extend to:
* Generating and following up sales enquiries.
* Contacting and Prospecting existing and potential customers.
* Attending shows / exhibitions to promote the product range – occasional weekend working will be required.
* Keeping all account and enquiries up to date with current information using the in-house IT system.
* Following up on sold vehicles to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
* Ensuring customers are contacted regarding new products and model changes to develop potential incremental sales opportunities.
* Liaise with finance companies to aid funding options for customers.
* Work with the administration team and Production Manager to ensure customers’ orders are smoothly processed.
Candidates will need to be self-motivated with a demonstrable track record in a similar face-to-face sales role. This position could suit a passenger car or light commercial sales executive seeking an alternative career environment.
Whilst leisure sales experience would be highly beneficial, it is not essential.
Additional qualities should include:
* An understanding of vehicle funding and related legislation.
* Strong IT competencies and excellent interpersonal skills.
* The ability to negotiate sales to a successful close.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Confidence working to targets and deadlines.
