As our IT Service Desk Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to ensure comprehensive IT support for OnlineDIRECT, both internally and externally. You will collaborate closely with the IT Infrastructure Project Lead and SQL Database Administrator, acting as the first point of contact for all IT-related issues. This role demands a high level of customers service, efficient problem-solving involving some occasional evening and weekend working.
* Serve as the first point of contact for all support queries
* Handle daily support requests and incidents from end users through a ticketing system
* Assist brokers with their IT-related needs and incidents
* Support with network upgrades and new IT developments
* Assist with managing IT systems, including VOIP, servers, laptops & cloud-based systems
* Schedule and manage daily and weekly backups using VEEAM
* Support ongoing projects as directed by the Head of Technology
* Create and maintain a knowledge base with guides and documentation for end users
* Ensure adherence to IT policies, laws, and regulations, supported by company-wide training
* Assist in managing cloud environments in accordance with company security policies
* Handle asset management requests, including procurement of software & hardware
* Perform other ad-hoc duties and project work as required to support the business
* Minimum of 1 years experience in 2 Line support
* Ability to work in a team and independently
* Strong timekeeping and project management abilities
* Ability to write and understand technical processes
* Experience with cloud-based services (AWS/Azure)
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365/Exchange
* Experience with Microsoft Server 2019/Active Directory
* Committed to delivering excellent customer service

* Previous experience in application and database support
* Understanding of programming languages and PowerShell scripting
* Experience supporting VOIP phone systems
* Basic networking skills
