Overview
Our Sales Executives will promote and sell the Pickfords brand, generating sales activity and opening up lines of communication with clients and prospects whilst achieving a defined revenue target that is underpinned by strong margin performance that meets the expectations of the business.
Duties
* Prospecting and targeting companies within the UK from cold calling and warm leads through to securing/contract signing.
* Developing key high level contacts to maximize business opportunities and ensure longevity of the business.
* Pro-actively contacting prospect clients to establish their future needs and requirements.
* Maintain excellent product and competitor awareness to ensure optimal client experience.
* To account manage key clients throughout the entire process ensuring repeat business.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* Required strong background in cold calling and Field Sales.
* The ability to communicate effectively in a professional and convincing manner at all levels.
* Be commercially aware, demonstrating high levels of integrity, be energetic and enthusiastic .
* Be results orientated with a clear determination to succeed.
* Ability to persuade and influence others.
* Ability to spot opportunities and be proactive.
* Pro-actively able to generate leads and revenue from cold calling.
* Full understanding of the Sales Process.
* Commercially aware and able to negotiate prices with customers, a proven track record of success negotiating and closing sales.
* Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills.
* Sales experience in a B2B environment.
* Good networking skills, with proven ability to optimise both internal and external contacts .
