As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced hands on Head Chef to join our team at Legoland Resort, Windsor
The resort attracts thousands of UK and International guests, with an on-site bars & restaurants across three hotels and a family entertainment hub.
This is a tremendously exciting challenge for a hard-working, career minded, individual to join the team and assume responsibility for overseeing the kitchen operation. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will lead and inspire the talented team to deliver exceptional hospitality by optimising the guest experience through class leading Health & Safety standards, a real desire for team development, and a sound understanding and delivery of a profitable business.

A day in the life of a Head Chef:
* Take ownership and accountability of operational food management and financial performance of the site
* Lead your team to success in food preparation and production; clear communication, one team approach, regular reviews, training and succession planning
* Create innovative menus and recipes while maintaining high-quality standard
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation practices
* Manage inventory, ordering, and budget control for the kitchen
* Train and develop kitchen staff on culinary techniques and best practices
* Collaborate with management to plan special events or menu changes
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
* Building relationships and engagement with key stakeholders at all levels improving client and customer satisfaction
* Be accountable for the implementation of schemes including company procedures and menu specifications, ensuring they fit with the quality and requirements of the client
* Be accountable for the management and delivery of food cost budget & labour cost
* Be accountable for stock flow and rotation of product across the operation
* Overall Management of Food Safety Compliance across the operation
You'll be set up for success if you have:
* Experience operating as a Head Chef in a contract catering environment
* Ability to lead and manage a diverse team
* Knowledge and experience in change management & transformation
* Able to communicate at all levels across different client or stakeholder groups
* Flexibility to be on site 5 days over 7
* A passion to innovate, drive health and well-being and premium cuisine
