Baraset Barn, an award-winning gastro pub and boutique hotel set in the idyllic countryside of Stratford-upon-Avon, is seeking an exceptional and innovative Head Chef to lead our talented kitchen team. As Head Chef, you will be the driving force behind our culinary direction, developing creative, seasonal menus that celebrate fresh, locally sourced ingredients. You will manage all aspects of the kitchen, from overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional food quality to mentoring and developing your team.
Responsibilities:
1. Curate innovative and seasonal menus while maintaining the highest standards of food presentation and quality.
2. Lead and inspire the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
3. Manage stock, budgets, and supplier relationships efficiently to meet business targets.
4. Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards across the kitchen.
5. Take full control of the food side of the business.
6. Communicate effectively and maintain composure under pressure.
7. Implement new cooking techniques and bring creative ideas to the menu.
8. Take pride in every successful service.
Qualifications:
1. A hygiene qualification, excellent food knowledge, and food safety awareness are all essential for this role.

3. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
