£23,000 - £26,000 per annum depending on experience

Location: Rugeley - DRIVER ESSENTIAL for this role
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm

Key Responsibilities:
Act as the main point of contact for customer queries, providing remote diagnostics and coordinating support or repair solutions.
Develop and maintain support procedures, record systems, and customer databases.
Assist engineers with system commissioning on-site and remotely.
Set up and configure customer equipment (e.g., laptops, tablets) and install software updates.
Manage and maintain file servers, cloud servers, and staff PCs, including backups and upgrades.
Liaise with customers, third-party engineers, and the software team to ensure smooth communication and implementation of new versions.
Prepare detailed reports and process survey data to support operations.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in an IT helpdesk role.
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
Strong technical aptitude, with experience in software installation and server management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with customers and team members
