Internal/Technical Sales Executive

Hours - Monday to Thursday (Apply online only), Friday (Apply online only)
Salary - £28k-£33k DOE
Our client is a well-established design and manufacturing company based in Corby. They are a market leader in their field, focusing on producing high-quality components to exacting standards using the very latest technology and utilising years of experience within the team.
From rapid prototyping through to volume production, they can quickly provide their customers with the technical and commercial offer they require and then produce parts to support prebuild in readiness for serial production.
They supply to a wide range of industries including Automotive, Aerospace, Food Processing, Drinking Water, Refrigeration, Electrical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Pumping, Rail, and Oil and Gas.
Due to retirement, they are now recruiting an experienced Technical/Internal Sales Executive on a permanent basis to join their small and friendly commercial team.
Responsibilities:
1. Searching for new clients who could benefit from our products
2. Establishing new and maintaining existing relationships with customers - account management
3. Managing and interpreting customer requirements
4. Calculating client quotations
5. Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
6. Offering after-sales support services
7. Administering client accounts
8. Analysing cost and sales
9. Recording and maintaining client contact data
10. Coordinating sales projects
11. Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
12. Liaising with other members of the commercial team and other technical experts within customers and suppliers
13. Solving client problems
14. Providing training and producing support materials for the sales team
15. Assisting in the design of bespoke products
About you:
1. Previous internal sales/account management experience - ideally within a technical environment
2. Organised
3. Good IT literacy
4. Strong communication skills
