Corinthian Sports is on an exciting journey of growth and development, and to enable this further we are now seeking an experienced HR Director to join the leadership team in a newly created role to provide strategic, technical and operational leadership across the business and to approx 50 employees (and growing!).
You’ll be an experienced HR leader with the knowledge and experience to take ownership of, and effectively manage all HR processes and systems in relation to the day to day requirements while at the same time, coach fellow leaders and support management capability across the business. You’ll also enjoy travelling to our 3 sites in London, Glasgow and Manchester to build and foster good relationships.
Day to day will typically involve:
* Manage the execution of the HR Strategy and core areas of the HR department including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement, Reward and Recognition, as well as maintaining and improving HR systems and management of the HR budget.
* Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to resource plan and identify skills gaps.
* Advise and strategise on the development of effective employment policies across the company.
* Provide reports on all areas of HR for effective day to day people management.
* Manage and oversee all day-to-day HR administration using Breathe HR.
* Provide professional leadership, support and development to all employees ensuring professional standards are met.
* Ensure managers are sufficiently skilled and enabled to access appropriate guidance and information to manage workforce issues.
* Ensure that the company complies with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and procedures and legislation (including legislation on data protection, the Equality Act).
To excel in this role, you'll need to have:
* The ability to create a people strategy.
* Experience of operating at leadership team level.
* Commercial acumen and experience of using metrics to drive performance.
* In depth knowledge of employment legislation.
* Demonstrable experience in a leading HR preferably in an SME growth environment.
* An accreditation from the CiPD, preferably MCiPD.
