About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our Hospitality team at Sanders Senior Living. The successful candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and management, with excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, kitchen operations, and staff management.
* Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
* Ensure efficient use of resources, including staff, equipment, and supplies.
* Develop and implement new recipes and menus to enhance resident satisfaction.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A culinary qualification (e.g., NVQ or equivalent)
* At least 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef in a similar setting
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* A proven track record of improving kitchen efficiency and reducing costs
Working Hours
The successful candidate will work approximately 30 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Salary Information
We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
