Job Title: Head Chef - Monday to Friday
A highly motivated and creative Head Chef is required to lead our culinary team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh innovative food services solely to independent schools and colleges.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a name for themselves within the food service industry and be part of setting the new standard for education catering.
About the Role
As a Head Chef, you will work closely with your teams to develop a great work relationship and together provide exceptional customer service. You will craft imaginative and nutritionally balanced menus that cater to diverse tastes, dietary preferences, and nutritional needs of our students.
* Lead a dynamic kitchen team by example, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and efficiency.
* Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and organised kitchen environment.
You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and service.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
* Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills, including managing, training, and supporting a team.
* Financially astute, with excellent analytical and budgeting skills.
* Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills.
* Ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, creative environment and thrive under pressure.
* Meticulous organisational abilities and a high attention to detail.
* Empathetic, clear, and highly effective verbal and written communication.
* Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective.
* Excellent strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills.
