Love all things customer oriented and enjoy variety and challenge? We are looking for Customer Support Centre Advisors to provide outstanding customer service and enable first point of contact resolution for routine enquiries across all service areas and all access channels. You will be working as part of a friendly, multi-disciplined team, where customer focus is key in delivering our performance goals and enabling continual improvement.
You will have experience in delivering front-line customer service preferably in an inbound/outbound contact centre, with experience in taking ownership to resolve emotive situations with customers whilst influencing and empowering customers. You will ideally have equivalent to GCSE English and Maths Grade C / grade 4 or above and/or ability to demonstrate equivalent level of competency gained through work experience and workplace learning.

You are a Teignbridge District Council fit if you:
* Have a good level of literacy and numeracy – Equivalent to achieving GCSE Maths and English Grade C (4) or above.
* Have basic relevant experience and an understanding of the job or transferable skills and the aptitude to learn quickly.
* Have excellent attention to detail, are level-headed and have a positive approach to challenging situations.
* Have excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly and accurately with colleagues, members of the public and partner agencies.
