JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen operation across both the Maray Dockside kitchen, as well as The One O'Clock Gun, our pub next door.
They will direct and inspire their team to succeed in creating passionate food and industry leading results. They will be accountable for food standards, allergen compliance, profitability and performance of both kitchens, as well as maintenance and compliance. They are also accountable for the kitchen team training.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar kitchen management role. preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
* Experience with stock management systems.
* Strong understanding of kitchen operations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Food Safety Level 2 as a minimum.
* Additional certifications such as First Aid or cookery qualification are an advantage.
PACKAGE & BENEFITS
Pay: £48,000.00-£50,000.00 (OTE) per year
