Job overview:
As the Recruitment Manager your primary responsibility will be to attract and secure top talent to fulfil OnBuy’s recruitment needs. You will own the whole recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates, to supporting managers with selection to offer negotiation. Your approach to recruitment will be modern, efficient, and cost effective.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop job descriptions and job ads that effectively communicate the requirements of each role.
2. Sourcing: Utilise various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards and professional networks, to source and engage potential candidates.
3. Screening and shortlisting: Conduct initial candidate assessments to evaluate experience, cultural fit, and motivation and create a shortlist for the hiring managers.
4. Selection: Support hiring managers in preparing in-depth interviews and assessments of candidates, assessing their skills, experience, and cultural alignment.
5. Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication, providing feedback, and guiding candidates through the hiring process.
6. Offer Management: Extend job offers and negotiate compensation packages, following company guidelines.
7. Data Management: Maintain an organised and updated applicant tracking system.
8. Reporting: Generate regular reports on recruitment metrics and progress to evaluate and improve recruitment processes.
9. Employer Branding: Contribute to developing and promoting our employer brand to attract top talent.
10. Compliance: Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations, ensuring all recruitment activities comply with legal requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
* Proven experience as an in-house recruiter or in a similar role recruiting (for tech roles primarily).
* Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
* A passion for talent acquisition and a keen eye for identifying exceptional candidates.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The salary on offer for this role is up to £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
