Regional HR Director, EMEA (Maternity Cover)
Croda is a FTSE100 listedmanufacturing company specialising in the research and development of innovativeingredients for the Life Science and Consumer Care markets. With over 6,000 staff globally, our EMEAregion is the largest in size and complexity with circa 3,000 employees across 16countries. Due to an upcoming maternity leave, we are looking for anexperienced HR Director to join the team at our Head Offices in Cowick, EastYorkshire.
Reporting to the Vice President of HR, thisrole is the most senior HR position in the region, providing leadership andstrategic direction across our business and lead a team of Senior HR Managers to deliver the regional HR strategy.
Whowe're looking for:
1. Experience operating as an HR Director within a regional or global manufacturing organisation of a similar size or complexity
2. Confident and capable of handling challenging stakeholders and building strong relationships. Able to contribute at business leadership level.
3. Experience of leading change and transformation programs across the region and in unionised environments.
4. Experience of implementing talent management and DEI plans aligned with corporate strategy. Ability to also contribute towards those strategies.
5. Purpose led with a high level of authenticity and empathy to build strong relationships internally and provide coaching and development for your team and at senior levels across the region.
6. Culturally astute with a desire to be part of a global functional team, sharing best practice across regions, working closely together with a commercially focussed continuous improvement mindset
KeyResponsibilities
7. Lead the EMEA HR Strategy ensuring goals and objectives are aligned with business strategy whilst successfully communicating and cascading to the regional HR team
8. Leading and developing the EMEA HR team
9. Act as a key member of the regional business leadership teams and the global HR leadership team
10. Work with the Global Reward Director to ensure a compensation strategy which supports the acquisition and retention of critical talent
11. Support and advocate a culture of partnership, innovation and continuous improvement within the EMEA HR function
12. Ensure Croda can continually attract and retain talent to support strategic needs and supporting talent management processes such as career coaching, leadership development and succession planning
13. Influence, coach and develop at all levels within the organisation whilst setting strategic and tactical objectives for the regional HR team
