Data curator & analyst in clinical neuroimaging Job Overview In a multidisciplinary team, we use clinical imaging (MRI, PET) in the development of novel therapies which address the most pressing medical needs. Part of a companywide effort is to enhance data and information sharing. This position is to evaluate, implement, and maintain software solutions to import imaging data from internal and external sources, curate and process them, and embed them in a federated database environment which provides seamless interfaces both to neuroimage processing workflows and to data management platforms. This is a remote position Responsibilities Become familiar with and drive the overarching concept for data and information sharing in a global pharmaceutical company Interface with multiple company-wide cross-functional stakeholders including neuroimaging scientists, drug development scientists, data management & IT specialists Implement new or adapt existing neuroimaging data standards and neuroimaging pipelines in a context of global drug development Implement software solutions for neuroimaging data management, metadata curation and image processing Evaluate these solutions on defined use cases in neurodegenerative diseases We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with experience in implementing easily maintainable software modules related to neuroimaging data ingestion/curation and neuroimaging workflows: Education and Requirements: A master’s degree in Computer Science, Neuroscience, Life Sciences & Technology, Bioengineering or related field A solid programming experience (Python, Matlab, or similar) Experience with neuroimaging analysis workflows and data management practices Not intimidated by large-scale multi-dimensional neuroimaging datasets with thousands of subjects imaged across numerous imaging sites at multiple time points Familiar with neuroimaging analysis packages (such as SPM, FreeSurfer, FSL, or similar) and neuroimaging data formats and standards (e.g. DICOM, NIfTI, BIDS) Committed to team play, easily show engagement with people The position starts from January 2025 and ends in December 2025, with an option to extend the engagement depending on performance and availability of internal funding.
