Key Responsibilities of the Drama Teacher: Deliver engaging and innovative drama lessons to students at various levels. Develop and implement creative teaching materials that inspire and challenge Drama students. Encourage students to explore different aspects of performance, including acting, directing, and production. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Organise and oversee school productions, drama clubs, or extracurricular activities. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students can develop their talents. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the drama curriculum and support cross-curricular opportunities. Inspire students to appreciate the role of drama in society and develop their creative problem-solving skills. Ensure that students remain motivated and engaged in Drama lessons and activities. Key Skills and Qualifications: Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong knowledge of Drama and theatre, with the ability to teach across key stages. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for drama and the arts, with a commitment to student success. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Experience teaching Drama in secondary education is desirable but not essential.
