We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to assist in the leadership of our kitchen team (alongside one of the owners) in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food production, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hospitality.
As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, assisting with menu development, and team management while ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency in every dish.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Implement new recipes and cooking methods while maintaining the restaurant's unique style.
Conduct regular performance evaluations of kitchen staff to promote professional growth.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant environment.
Strong culinary skills with a comprehensive understanding of food production techniques.
Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff training.
