Your role at Veezu: The Data Engineer will support ongoing business growth, utilising a variety of Data & BI tools to build systems that collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information for achieving key milestones and objectives. We are a tech-driven on-demand mobility service that supports our hyper-local communities, helping them thrive and so much more What you’ll do: Previous experience as a data engineer or BI developer. Extensive knowledge of SQL and database design. Hands-on Python Notebook experience. Facilitate the overall data architecture, build, test and maintenance. Set standards for transformations / processing of data. Define processes for monitoring and analysis. Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Data Warehouse / BI modelling using Kimball dimensional design patterns. Experience of working with ETL solutions and data orchestration pipelines. Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau. Hands-on experience with SQL Server, BI toolset, AWS, Google or Azure architectures. Azure DevOps, agile and waterfall delivery methodologies. Up to date with latest technologies such as Microsoft Fabric. Experience with data mining and predictive modelling. Unit tests and test strategies. Explore ways to enhance data quality, validation and reliability. Working to ISO27001 security standards or equivalent.
