We are pleased to be working with an established company based in Southampton which is looking to recruit a Sales Executive to join their friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy office environment, to ensure client's needs are met and anticipated, as well as establishing new sales opportunities.
Main duties of the Sales Executive
1. Promote the company's services and build relationships with customers
2. Respond to sales enquiries via telephone and email
3. Proactively call out to current and potential new clients
4. Proactively manage customer's accounts
5. Keep customers' records accurately updated
6. Manage customers' expectations
7. Liaise with internal departments to fulfill customer requirements
Key competencies of the Sales Executive
1. Quick to learn and adapt
2. Good IT capabilities (Outlook, Excel, Word)
3. Good numeracy and literacy skills
4. Polite, friendly with a professional telephone manner
5. Self-motivated, punctual, and organised
6. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced thriving environment
7. Ability to problem solve and to work off your own initiative
8. Ability to build quick rapport with potential and existing customers
As a Sales Executive, you will be required to work Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30 with a 1 hr lunch break, along with a salary offering £28,080 per annum + uncapped commission based on a % of sales.
