The role holder will be office based on a hybrid basis but will also support field based colleagues so travel will be required. The company, a multi-sited country wide offices have recently created this role due to continued growth. The Responsibilities The purpose of this role is to support the HR Manager and the widder business in reaching operational and strategic goals. Whilst your core responsibilities will revolve around business-as-usual HR life cycle tasks, there are a number of new initiatives that are being introduced into the organisation which you will be involved in. The department is key in delivering the companies people and organisational agenda which makes it an exciting time to join. On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following; Business partner key stakeholders such as line managers and employees on all things HR. This may include (but not limited to) absence management, employee relations, performance management. Play a core part in activities around employee engagement and work closely with the head of HR in looking at employee relations policies and additionally support the management and roll out of the employee engagement survey later this year. Review current HR policies in conjunction with the head of HR and support the drive to embed best practice throughout the business. Engage with the business in relation to recruitment and act as a subject matter expert when it comes to recruitment. Understand your internal client needs, deliver direct sourcing methodologies and engage with external stakeholders such as recruitment companies to develop a cost effective PSL. Provide key insights to your internal stakeholders in the development of L&D initiatives ensuring that employees are upskilled and engaged. Work on various projects related to HR policy enhancements and operational implementation. The Requirements We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic HR professional to join our client. We are seeking applicants who are at least level 5 CIPD qualified and who have at least 4 years of working in an HR generalist role. Additionally, you will have extensive ER case management experience with both blue and white collar colleagues. Due to the nature of needing to travel applicants will need to have a drivers license and access to a car. There will also be travel expected to other offices on the central belt once a month.
