Key
Responsibilities:
* Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the
consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality Thai dishes.
* Develop and innovate menus that reflect
authentic Thai flavours while catering to the tastes of our guests.
* Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training,
scheduling, and performance management.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen,
adhering to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Monitor food costs and inventory, ensuring
efficient use of resources and minimising waste.
* Collaborate with the front-of-house team to
ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
* Establish and maintain relationships with
suppliers, ensuring the quality and freshness of ingredients.
* Lead and inspire the kitchen team, fostering a
positive and productive work environment.
* Conduct regular team meetings and provide
ongoing training and development opportunities for staff.
Qualifications:
* Extensive experience as a Head Chef or Executive
Chef in a Thai restaurant or high-end establishment.
* In-depth knowledge of Thai cuisine and cooking
techniques.
* Strong leadership and management skills with the
ability to lead a diverse team.
* Excellent understanding of kitchen operations,
including inventory management and cost control.
* High standards of cleanliness and familiarity
with food safety regulations.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced
environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including
evenings, weekends, and holidays.
