Job Title: Head Chef at HC One

As a Head Chef, your responsibilities include managing the kitchen team to prepare and serve nutritious, healthy meals tailored to Residents' preferences and dietary needs. You will oversee food stock management, optimize budgets, and liaise with support teams to ensure nutrition standards are met, always prioritizing Resident wellbeing.
Requirements for this role include an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, a minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate, and knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. We seek a candidate with positive energy, excellent interpersonal skills, organizational ability, recipe-following precision, and considerate communication with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, know how to respond, and attend relevant safeguarding training. You must be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
