A constituent college of the University of Cambridge oriented to mature students. Catering for 200 students and staff daily. We offer a core feeding of breakfast, lunch, evening meal, all day café and lots of high end hospitality. This is a year-round contract operating 7 days a week and work patterns will be 5 days out of 7.
We are looking for a talented Head Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Cambridge.

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.
Key responsibilities:
* To provide breakfast, lunch, Dinner, hospitality and Fine dining menus for all college functions, and lead a team of chefs to achieve the highest possible standards of dining for our students, Fellows, staff and external guests.
* To produce seasonal menus using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the company brand standards
* Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed
* To design bespoke menus for prestigeous events and ensure they are delivered to the highest standards
You will have the following skills:
* A genuine interest in food & excellent customer service
* An all-round team player
* Innovation and passion for great food with a proven track record in delivering excellent standards of cuisine
* An organised person with attention to detail and experience of stock controll and budgeting menus
Knowledge / competencies:
* Ability to demonstrate good understanding and use of writtedn and verbal English.
* To have a demonstratbel exeperince of working with fresh ingredietnas and cooking to a high standeard, employing a variety classical and modern techniques and styles.
* Ability to lead and inspire a team of chefs to produce excellent food
