Exciting opportunity to join our friendly Fego team! We are DAY ONLY but require weekend availability.
The role at a glance:
As a Head Chef, you will own and manage your kitchen and your kitchen team. This will include all aspects of food safety and food management as well as looking after your team and completing their rotas, recruiting and managing and developing them.
You will ensure that only great, delicious food comes out of your kitchen, leaving our guests delighted with their experience at Fego every time, whilst ensuring your kitchen is always compliant with relevant regulations and requirements.
You will be expected to work in an organised and orderly manner within this fast paced, vibrant environment, offering great food and fast service always whilst working collaboratively with the front of house team.
We have no front of house/kitchen divides – we are all one team working together to produce the same, fantastic experience for each and every guest who comes to us.
The successful candidate:
The successful candidate will be a proven leader and talented chef, passionate about guest experience, food quality and standards within the business.
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and great organisational skills are required to meet the needs and demands of the business.
Previous kitchen experience is a must with a great understanding of how a food offering works covering brunch and lunch service and transitioning to fun, casual evening dishes that are on brand.
