We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Assistant Bakery Manager to support the smooth running of our bustling Milton Keynes location. As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Branch Manager to lead a team, ensure exceptional product quality, and deliver top-notch customer service. This role is perfect for someone with experience in hospitality or retail management who is passionate about food and creating a welcoming customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing daily bakery operations
Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service
Support with staff training, development, and team motivation
Help manage stock control, ordering, and product display
Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards
Step in to manage the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager
Contribute to achieving sales targets and maintaining high store performance
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptlyRequirements
Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in a retail or foodservice environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support a team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Passion for the bakery industry and delivering great products
Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and holidays
