We are looking for someone who is an allrounder to join our team. We are seeking someone who is versatile and dynamic, as this role will encompass a variety of aspects and new challenges. There is a potential to progress within the role, whether that be in technical support or sales.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain the sales inbox
2. Answer and deal with phone calls and emails
3. Greet and assist visitors - Deal with some walk-in customers
4. Quote and process customers' enquiries and orders
5. Quote chasing
6. Update customers on their order progress and delivery
7. Work with partnered suppliers to spec and provide quotations as per clients' specific requests
8. Complete relevant paperwork for deliveries and collections
9. Update the stock system daily
10. Site visits and networking events e.g. exhibitions
Requirements:
1. Confident telephone and people skills
2. Some previous experience and knowledge of working within an industrial environment
3. Knowledge of industrial products, plant hire, industrial tooling, and lifting
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
6. Proactive and able to think on their feet
7. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
8. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
10. Full driving license would be preferential
