Contract Length: 80 days – 7 hours per day

About You
1. You will have the technical skill and experience of IT, telephony (Teams) and mobile devices (iPhone and iPad), including mobile device management (InTune), thin clients and laptops.
2. You will have experience of Windows, M365, Teams telephony, support desk and customer contact.
3. You will also have strong communication skills, be equally comfortable working in a team as on your own, and where appropriate, you will be happy to ‘muck-in’ and support your colleagues.
4. Most of all, you will be a vital team member on the front line of our IT service delivery.
Essential Qualifications
1. Experience of IT, communications, telephony (Teams) and mobile devices, including mobile device management (MS Endpoint), thin clients and laptops.
2. Educated to GCE A level or equivalent standard.
3. Experience of support desk and customer contact.
4. Ability to understand and take account of end user/customer needs, able to converse appropriately.
5. Understanding of hardware and software in use in the authority to carry out IT and/or telephone equipment installations and software upgrades.
6. Experience of Teams and Sharepoint.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high standard of Customer Care qualities.
8. Able to adapt to system technology changes.
9. Ability to follow set procedures accurately.
10. Capable of record keeping and updating documentation, applying a consistent accurate approach with data inputting.
11. Well organised and practical, careful and confident with the handling of IT equipment.
12. Logical/analytical approach to problem solving.
13. Can demonstrate a common sense and responsible attitude.
