Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and interactive drama lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum Foster a creative and nurturing environment that promotes student confidence and self-expression Organize and direct school plays, performances, and other dramatic productions Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and other forms of assessment Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies Maintain accurate and timely records of students' attendance, progress, and behaviour Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and any concerns Requirements A degree in Drama or a related field, along with relevant teaching qualifications Proven experience teaching drama to primary or secondary school students Passion for drama education and a strong understanding of current teaching practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities Strong organizational and time management skills Up-to-date knowledge of drama curriculum and assessment frameworks Salary Paid to scale on MPS/UPS Application To be considered for this Drama Teacher position please forward a CV as soon as possible.
