The Group Recruitment Manager will work in a small team at a Group level, leading our approach to attraction and recruitment.
You will raise our client's profile as an employer, helping us to attract the best talent into a range of exciting roles and provide a positive candidate experience. You will champion the their values and culture and our commitment to social mobility, equity, diversity and inclusion.
Key responsibilities:
* Set and maintain best practice guidelines for recruitment and attraction, and support our regional people teams and hiring managers in implementing them effectively.
* Work collaboratively with the Group Future Skills Manager to attract and recruit emerging talent through the graduate programme and apprenticeship schemes.
* Develop guidelines for external recruitment consultantancies to ensure a consistent and best practice approach in line with the Group values and our approach to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
* Deliver an internal recruitment function for the autonomous businesses for certain roles, initially directly, and over time to grow a small recruitment team.
* Manage the Group’s careers website, improving the information provided to candidates and helping to provide an insight into what it’s like to work at with our client.
* Manage the applicant tracking software for the business and be the point of contact for posting new roles externally.
Skills, knowledge and expertise:
* Knowledge of recruitment and best practice (in house or agency)
* Ability to apply a good foundation knowledge of HR policy and best practice pragmatically to support a positive candidate experience.
* Passionate about people.
* Enthusiastic about driving change.
* Responsive and helpful when providing advice and support to multiple stakeholders.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Analytical skills.
* Ability to working independently, and to collaborate with others.
* Discrete and able to handle confidential information.
* Comfortable being onsite at least three days per week
