Position: Sous Chef
Location: Outskirts of Truro
My client is seeking a Sous Chef to join their busy Kitchen Team. The Hotel features a moderate-sized brigade that runs 2 kitchens: a traditional dining room with 1 AA rosette, serving breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner. The food is silver served and is a firm favorite with hotel residents, with dinner service accommodating 70-80 guests per night.
This is a very high-quality operation, and candidates must have a significant aspiration to work in a luxury hotel. While this is a traditional business, it is also progressive, and candidates should demonstrate a contemporary outlook and an ability to adapt to a fast-moving, busy operation.
Salary: Up to £36,000 depending on experience, plus fantastic tips and company perks.
Additional Information: Immediate start available; own transport required due to remote location. Live-in accommodation possible dependent on availability.
