Carmel Jane Photography Ltd is an industry-leading school photography and film company that specializes in selling high-quality services to schools across the UK. We are highly respected and growing rapidly, and our success in winning new clients is based on a considered and customer-driven proposal based selling approach.
We are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our team and drive this expansion across Bromley and the surrounding areas, someone who is as passionate about quality and service as we are, and would love to share the CJP ethos with schools in this area.
The role will be a mixture of following up warm leads, face-to-face appointments, some telephone and in-person cold-calling, attending industry conferences and networking events, and utilizing marketing campaigns to also generate new business.
We need someone with a proven track record in sales or a strong background in a customer-based, account management role with experience of promoting and upselling a product or service. Someone with the ability to create instant rapport and build and develop relationships, tenacious and driven, and able to self-manage. Knowledge of the education industry would be helpful, but it is certainly not essential.
The successful candidate will be home-based in the Bromley area, will need to travel into London on a regular basis by train to attend meetings, and to travel to our Head Office (based in Essex), on average once every 3 to 4 weeks.
This is a great opportunity for a home-based role with a competitive salary, managing your own time and schedule, and to work mainly term time only (there will be some but minimal commitments to work during the school holidays).
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of this schools’ market, building relationships and growing business throughout the region.
* Follow up on warm leads and visit schools for face-to-face appointments.
* Research and call new prospective clients.
* Maintain and update the CRM system.
* Be a brand and customer service champion at all times.
* Attend conferences and networking events to raise profile and awareness of the brand.
* Provide client feedback to consistently improve the product and service to maintain market leader status.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Proven track record in a similar sales role, ideally including previous involvement with schools or selling into the education sector.
* A passion for customer satisfaction and first-class service delivery.
* Highly motivated and driven.
* A self-starter who is also a great team member.
* Excellent written and communication skills.
* Exceptional people and communication skills and an engaging, personable phone manner.
