Senior Sous Chef Up to £26,500.00 per annum experience-dependent Eastbourne You will assist in leading the centre kitchen team, alongside the Catering Manager. You will cook for students and the wider academic community. You will also assist in creating a varied menu, training and leading a kitchen team, to ensure compliance in all aspects of food hygiene safety. Key Responsibilities Menu creation and preparation Assist with stock management, ordering and kitchen inventory Processing purchase orders for suppliers Assist with team schedules and training Ensure quality is always maintained to brand standard Assist in the management of all practices to ensure compliance. Key Role Requirements: You will ideally hold a current Level 3 Food Hygiene certificate Ideally you will hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in catering and hospitality Experienced in team leading. Strong awareness of Food Safety, COSHH and associated paperwork. Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
