We are partnering with a prestigious golf club in Wilmington, Dartford, to find a motivated Junior Sous Chef. This role involves overseeing daily food preparation and kitchen operations, ensuring top-notch service for both the restaurant and events. You will work closely with the Head Chef to drive sales and profitability while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and service.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to maximize sales and efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety regulations, and hygiene standards.
* Support and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
* Oversee food preparation, including handling allergens and adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience: Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
* Skills: Strong knowledge of food and beverage, with a focus on regulatory compliance and safety.
* Training: Formal culinary training and prior restaurant experience.
* Attributes: Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with a keen eye for detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional customer service capabilities.
