We are pleased to be working with a leading commodities supplier, who due to their continued growth and success seek a Sales Executive.
THE ROLE:
Working closely with our Head of Sales.
Enabling onboarding of prospective clients.
Manage and nurture a sales pipeline, ensuring strong follow-up and relationship-building.
Position our products effectively by understanding customer needs and market trends.
Negotiate and closing deals, ensuring commercial success while maintaining long-term partnerships.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions throughout the year.
Conduct customer site visits and inspections where necessary.
Provide out-of-hours support via our emergency helpline.
THE CANDIDATE:
Minimum 2 years of B2B sales and lead generation experience.
Prior experience in the gas and chemical industry (or similar technical B2B sector) advantageous.
Proven ability to develop new business and successfully introduce new products.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills desired.
Strong organisational skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive problem-solver with a strong commercial mindset.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Full UK driver's license desirable, as site visits may become a key part of the role over time.
BENEFITS:
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience plus comms
