Position Overview: The successful candidate will be instrumental in empowering students to develop their creativity, confidence, and communication skills through the performing arts. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP) Drama curriculum to students in Grades 6 to 12. Design and implement engaging drama lessons, incorporating a range of theatrical techniques and performance styles. Prepare and mark a wide range of assessments following MYP and DP protocols. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students. Direct and produce school productions and performances, showcasing student talent and creativity. Embed IB "Approaches to Learning" in the curriculum delivery. Collaborate with other faculty members to establish interdisciplinary links and enrich the overall learning experience. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest developments in drama education. Education and Qualifications: Degree or equivalent qualification in Drama, Theatre, or a related field. Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) International Baccalaureate curriculum experience Fluency in both verbal and written English Knowledge and Skills: Full knowledge of drama theory, practice, and history.
