We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef to join our Gordon Ramsay Burger restaurant. You will be joining a passionate, and supportive Dining Hall team, all within our iconic Knightsbridge store.
About the Role
The Head Chef within our Gordon Ramsay Burger restaurant will be responsible for overseeing that area of the business and guiding the team in a manner that will ensure that a professional and correct operation is carried out at all times. Youll be responsible for the operation and organisation of the kitchen by setting daily production levels and guidelines, and delegating to the brigade.
As the Head Chef, youll be responsible for managing the planning and forecasting of stock levels and orders, always ensuring compliance to all internal systems including SAP and Workday. Youll be reviewing staff deployment regularly with the Sous Chef to ensure that the department in resourced effectively. In this role, youll also guarantee that Food Safety standards are adhered to by enforcing the high standard of hygiene and sanitation in all food-related outlets.
About You
Youll have a proven track record of hospitality experience at a senior level, ideally within a high volume, high end restaurant environment. Time spent working within a meat or grill focussed kitchen would also be highly advantageous.
Having a great knowledge and passion for food and drink is essential. Youll have great time-management skills and a strong customer focus when dealing with both internal and external parties, which includes maintaining and building on our partnership with the Michelin brand involved with this concept. Youll have exceptional interpersonal skills and a good attention to detail, which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and sufficient stock levels. Having good PC literacy is a must (Word, Excel and preferably SAP).
