They are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to help them with their mission.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support AI-driven drug discovery and computational biology applications.
* Integrate diverse data sources, including high-throughput biological data, molecular structures, clinical datasets, and experimental results.
* Optimize data storage and retrieval, ensuring efficient processing of large-scale scientific and AI-generated datasets.
* Collaborate with AI/ML scientists and bioinformaticians to build data workflows that enhance predictive modeling and drug discovery efforts.
* Develop and maintain cloud-based data infrastructure, leveraging platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure to enable scalable and efficient computing.
* Automate ETL processes to streamline data ingestion, transformation, and accessibility for researchers and AI models.
Qualifications
* Experience in data engineering with expertise in building and optimizing ETL pipelines for large-scale scientific or AI-driven datasets.
* Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with experience in frameworks like Apache Spark or Airflow.
* Cloud computing proficiency, ideally with AWS, GCP, or Azure for scalable data storage and processing.
* Database management expertise (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Snowflake).
* Familiarity with scientific data (biological, molecular, or clinical) is a plus.
* Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with AI/ML scientists and bioinformaticians.
