Salary range: £40,000 to £45,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Salford Dock House, In-office role.

Main responsibilities
As a Tester within the Partnerships teams, you will shape and execute testing within the team for new features and projects that span across various teams. Depending on the team you are in, you will be engaged in all aspects of SDLC, including architecture, design, specs, tests, development, and delivery. As a Test discipline advocate, you will review new features, assess them, write test plans, and work with software engineers to ensure testing is performed to the right level. You will also contribute to the test, writing and maintaining the automation test suites that support this effort.

Are you the right candidate?
Some of the things we love:
• Excellent domain testing skills with a proven strong background with experience in working with various broadcast systems such as DTT, DSat, DCable.
• Experience of testing MHEG / HbbTV interactive TV applications.
• Experience of testing applications on devices including TV, STB, Game Console, tablet and mobile using responsive designs and techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of the TV device development & production lifecycle.
• Proven experience initiating and maintaining effective communication at all levels with external organisations across the TV domain.
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and ways of working.
• Practical experience with source control tools e.g. Github, SVN.
• Experience of working and influencing agile processes across disciplines (Scrum, Kanban, V-Model).
• Experience in developing Test Plans, Test Scripts, Defining Test Data and Reports.
• Ability to think creatively, solve problems, and innovate.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
