The Role: Deliver engaging and interactive Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and expertise. Foster a love of drama and theatre in students, encouraging them to explore a variety of dramatic styles, techniques, and performance genres. Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves creatively and develop their performance skills. Contribute to the development and implementation of an innovative Drama curriculum that caters to a range of dramatic interests and abilities. Direct and produce school productions and performances, providing opportunities for students to showcase their talents and experience the magic of theatre. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their dramatic development. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Drama. A proven track record of successful teaching and learning outcomes in Drama. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners. A passion for Drama and a commitment to fostering creativity and confidence in young people. Experience in directing and producing theatrical productions.
