The L&D Manager will play a critical role in scoping, creating and delivering the L&D strategy for edyn. This role will be predominantly focused on creating development programmes that will support the growth of the business, bridge skill gaps and development managers, ultimately delivering the L&D strategy. The role will advise leaders and managers about the L&D offering, signposting to development for identified talent. This role ensures employees have the right knowledge, skills and behaviours to grow within their career as well as fulfilling their regulatory obligations. The L&D Manager will work with SMEs across the business to build foundational programmes, ensure adoption and embedment and seek continuous improvement. This role will involve instructional design as well as facilitation and creation of all programme supporting materials. A role less ordinary. Design and deliver Management programmes, skill programmes and leadership programmes to create high performing teams Manage the skills gap analysis process and assess training needs and create and deliver programmes to enhance performance Designing blended learning solutions for example, digital, face to face, social collaborative learning, coaching, action learning sets, etc Using digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning programmes Applying adult learning theories to ensure employees get the best out of their development Designing a range of learning interventions, including technical, behavioural and leadership programmes and working with external partners where relevant Driving a culture of continuing professional development (CPD) Facilitating learning interventions Creating a coaching culture in the organisation Manage the annual L&D curriculum Management development and succession planning activities Produce reports and presentations related to L&D activity Understanding of apprenticeships including the management of the apprenticeship levy and the management of different training providers Monitoring how effectively learning has been transferred to employees. Working with the Learning and Development team to: Ensure the L&D offering harnesses technology, best practice and modern ways of thinking and establish a way of working for the modern workforce Support the design and development for all L&D offerings in relation to frameworks, policies, processes & tools and in particular the communication and engagement across the whole of edyn so that the Learning and Development agenda is clearly understood and valued by all employees Assist in the selection and management of preferred 3rd Party training and leadership development suppliers, regularly reviewing the overall content and quality of supplier service offerings and delivering efficiencies / bottom line value Lead with innovative approaches to learning and development that will drive cost effectiveness, competitive advantage and are scalable and sustainable Proactively seek continuous improvement, regularly benchmarking against external companies and future trends · Collaborate and input to the development & implementation of the edyn Employer Brand, Employee Proposition, culture, values and People Strategy as part of the P&C team Support and advocate a Growth Mindset approach and encouraging others within the org to do the same Model the organisation values, holding self and others accountable, and translate strategic objectives into actionable items that inspire others to behave and operate at their best. Thorough knowledge of adult learning theory and best practice in Learning & Development and Performance Management Experience with measuring L&D effectiveness including ROI Experience effectively managing commercial partnerships and relationships with third party suppliers Ability to establish relationships and credibility with a wide range of leadership, staff and managers across the business including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels Experience of working to support and influence managers as well as providing Learning and Development to a range of employees across geographies and a Head Office environment Modern learning approach with a natural curiosity to try new approaches Why grow with edyn?
