Castle Employment Group are working in partnership with an independent hospitality group based in North Yorkshire as one of their venues is requiring a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in the delivery of the fresh food, seasonal menu. You would be expected to work 5 straight shifts per week and your contracted hours would be 48.
In addition to your base salary of £30,000 you would benefit from a share of tips, employee discounts at the venue and across the group along with a health & wellbeing programme for all the staff. The starting salary will also be reviewed after a successful probation period of 3 months.
The ideal chef would have experience working in a similar pub/restaurant environment where they use fresh food from Yorkshire based suppliers. Experience working as part of a small team and on occasions on your own would be ideal. You would require your own transport due to the location, which is commutable from Knaresborough, Harrogate, Ripon, Wetherby and Northwest York.
Role:
Preparation and service across all menu items
Be under the guidance of the Head Chef
Comply with all Health & Safety, Food Safety and COSHH Requirements
Ensure good communication throughout the kitchen and FOH teams.
