A Peek Into the Position As Sous Chef, you'll be the right hand to our Sr Chefs, collaborating closely to ensure every dish reflects our commitment to excellence. From crafting innovative menus to overseeing kitchen operations, your passion for gastronomy will shine through in every aspect of your work. Your Role in a Nutshell - Work the line during service, ensuring smooth flow, timing, and communication. - Oversee plating and dish execution to maintain consistency and presentation standards. - Manage ticket times and coordinate with front-of-house to handle pacing and special requests. - Support and guide line cooks during service, jumping in where needed to keep things moving. - Ensure every station is prepped, organised, and ready for service. - Train and mentor junior staff on prep, timing, and service rhythm. - Help with daily prep, station setup, and clean down to keep the kitchen running efficiently.
