Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
* Help with menu development and ensuring dishes are prepared to high standards.
* Support in supervising and training junior kitchen staff.
* Ensure kitchen cleanliness and adherence to health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
* Assist with stock control, ordering supplies, and managing kitchen costs.
* Contribute to the smooth running of event catering, including weddings and special occasions.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in a similar role.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn and develop.
* Knowledge of modern cooking techniques and food presentation.
* Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards.
* Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in professional cookery).
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
